The Sound of Denmark comes to Stanford University

The Sound of Denmark is a delegation of Danish audio professionals from across research and industry who are visiting Silicon Valley. Come meet them at an exciting public event at Stanford University's Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA).

The evening will also provide a glimpse into the bleeding edge of audio technology. Researchers from CCRMA will demo work grounded in their worldclass research while team members from Danish startups Ortofon A/S, Merus Audio & Sicom will give presentations as well.

You'll also hear from our distinguished panel featuring Chris Chafe, Director of Stanford University's Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA), Søren Louis Pedersen, founder of Libratone, Michael Smedegaard, CEO of a stealth startup and ex. Apple as well as Stefania Serafin, Professor at Aalborg University in Copenhagen.

To round out the evening the talented Danish singer Claes Cem will perform. In sharp contrast to all the evening's exciting technology Claes will do a short acoustic set of his homegrown songs.
Don’t miss this perfect opportunity to meet some cool Danes, learn about the newest research and to network with interesting people in the audio industry of Silicon Valley.

The event is free but we will like your RVSP for us to order food and drinks for this amazing networking opportunity.
