Description

The purpose of Sound & ICT Innovation Camp was to introduce Danish companies to the Korean abusiness environment. Being at the forefront of production and R&D, South Korean companies are home to highly skilled technology experts and engineers. By participating, Danish companies got an exclusive chance to pitch its technology to key people in a Korean conglomerate. They were offered sparring and qualified feedback from Korean technology experts, which were used to evaluate own products or services, but also serve as inspiration.

Horizon 2020-NET: SoundCARE-NET pursued short-term and lobbying for long-term opportunities within the H2020 pillars of Societal Challenge “Health, demographic change and wellbeing”, Industrial Leadership “LEIT – ICT” and “Innovation in SMEs”.

Description

“Sound & Health” was a cluster cooperation project between Welfare Tech and Danish Sound, running from January 2016 to July 2018. The goal was to create a public-private platform to promote new connections between knowledge domains, industries and sectors in order to create innovation and growth in Denmark using SOUND, ICT and OTHER relevant technologies for the health sector’s requirements.

Research partners in the project were University of Aarhus, Center of Functionally Integrative Neuroscience Center of Music In the Brain and the Technical University of Denmark, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science,Division of Cognitive Systems.

The kick-off workshop was held in Struer – City of Sound on March 3rd 2016. During the Spring 2016, the research partners defined the innovation projects which were expected to be implemented in the Fall. In addition to the concrete innovation projects “Sound & Health” will, during the course of the entire project period, host two larger conferences on the topic.
