Back in Denmark after a very successful Sound Innovation Camp that took us to Seoul and Tokyo in only five days. We had very interesting meetings with some of the biggest and most relevant Asian companies such as Samsung, Hyundai Motors, Sony, Honda and Mitsubishi Electric and organizations such as Hanyang University and the start-up accelerator D.Camp. Each meeting had its own outcome, but a common denominator was the positive interest in Danish Sound as a well-known brand and an industry that is attractive to cooperate with. The Sound Innovation Camp ended with a seminar held at the Royal Danish Embassy of Tokyo with more than 50 executives from Japanese companies such as Alpine, Fujifilm, Yamaha, Toyota, Nissan and many more.
The Danish delegation included GRAS sound & vibration, Steinway Lyngdorf, Brüel & Kjær, DTU Electrical Engineering, Global Audiology Consulting, Sound Hub Denmark and Danish Sound Network. The Sound Innovation Camp was organized and supported by Innovation Centre Denmark, Seoul, together with Royal Danish Embassy in Tokyo and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We are already discussing the possibility of doing one more Sound Innovation Camp in the spring of 2019.
